Hello and welcome to our blog

welcome to our blog !

You've come to the right place if:

Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! We are here to make your life in France easier, lighter… and a bit sunnier (thank you, South West France 🌞).

Why This Blog?

We’ve created this blog to share what excites us and what we do best:

  • A passion for the South West of France: its picturesque villages, amazing food (cheese, wine, foie gras… do we need to say more?), and its unique way of life.
  • Real estate: Whether you’re looking to buy, to sell or just want to understand why signing a sale agreement in France can take months, we’ve got the tips and advice !
  • Integration into France: French bureaucracy is a world of its own, but don’t worry! We’ll guide you through the maze of paperwork, from visas to healthcare.

who are we?

We are a team of passionate problem-solvers. A bit like MacGyver, but with a computer, a lot of patience, and years of experience under our belts. Our mission is clear:

  • Simplify your move to France,
  • Turn your administrative obstacles into triumphs,
  • Guide you every step of the way with care and efficiency.

All of this, with a pinch of humor, because let’s face it, it’s better to laugh than cry when facing those complicated French forms!

But here’s the twist: We’re not just any team. We’re two people who’ve been there, done that, and now we’re here to help you make your transition as smooth as possible.

Léah, our French expert, has a strong background in French administration, so when it comes to paperwork and the intricacies of French systems, she’s your go-to person. With her sharp eye for detail and deep knowledge of how the French bureaucracy operates, Léah is your trusted guide through the labyrinth of French formalities.

Barbara, originally from the UK, brings her legal expertise as a former barrister, giving us an invaluable edge in navigating legal matters. Having moved to France 20 years ago, she understands the challenges of relocating internationally and how important it is to bridge the gap between different systems. Her experience in both the UK and France allows her to provide advice that’s both practical and insightful.

Together, we’ve spent over 10 years working in real estate in the South West of France, helping people from all walks of life find their homes in this beautiful region. Whether you’re dealing with property transactions or the complexities of settling into a new culture, we understand what it takes to overcome the hurdles of moving abroad.

We know what it’s like to be an expatriate. The paperwork, the language barriers, the culture shock – it’s all part of the journey. But with us by your side, you can rest assured that we’ll help you every step of the way, using our combined expertise to make your life in France easier, lighter, and a little sunnier.
